The kind Kerria named thus in the honor of William Kerr includes/understands only one species.

The flowers of a sharp yellow, from 3 to 5 cm in diameter, recluses at the end of the branches seem for the forsythia, before the sheets, as of March. Kerria supports the cold well and is put up with the majority of the grounds, however preferring the light grounds located at semi-shade.
