Kernavė
Kernavė was the first known capital of the Grand-Duché of Lithuania. The king Mindaugas was crowned there in 1253. It is also a very important archeological site. Today it is a tourist village in the Municipalité of the district of Širvintos in the North-West of Vilnius. The site is registered since 2004 on the list of the world heritage of UNESCO.
