Kenya Airways
Kenya Airways (Code AITA KQ ; Code ICAO KQA ) is the Airline company Kenya, based with Nairobi.
Its slogan is The Pride off Africa (pride of Africa).
The company is founded in January 1977 after the dislocation of East African Airways. First flight the February 4th 1977.
KLM has 26% of the shares of the company (which thus belongs to the Groupe Air France-KLM). Its president is Dinesh Kapila and its CEO is Titus Naikuni. The other actions are held by individual Kenyan holders (32,5%), by the Kenyan government (22%), by Kenyan investors (15,7%). For ten years, contrary to many companies, it has carried out clear benefits. For the financial year which finished on March 31st, 2005, it recorded clear benefits record of 3,882 million KES (approximately 50 million dollars arméricains).
It practices the Partage of code with Air Malawi, KLM and Rwanda Air.

On Saturday, May 5, 2007, it is learned that one of its planes, flight KQ507 transporting 115 people, was crushed with a score of kilometer of Douala to the Cameroun.
