Kentron

Kentron (in Armenian: Կենտրոն) is the central district of Erevan. It shelters the administrative, political and commercial centers. It is also the tourist place of the city since it joins together the majority of the hotels, restaurants, bars, clubs and museums.

Situation

Of a surface of 1.420 hectares, it is located at the center of the agglomeration. Its population is of 179.100 inhabitants.

Administration

Divided into five districts - Pokr Kentron, Noragyugh, NOR Kilikia, Aygestan and Kond - the district is controlled since 2002 by Gagik Beglarian (1964 with Erevan-) (in Armenian: ԳագիկԲեգլարյան) .
