Kent is a parish of the Comté of Carleton, located at the west of the New Brunswick.

According to the census of Statistical Canada, it there had 2478 inhabitants in 2001, compared to 2547 in 1996, that is to say a fall of 2,7%. The parish counts 952 private residences, has a surface of 839,79km square and a Population density of 3,0 inhabitants to the square km. (1)
