Kenny Burrell (born on July 31st, 1931 with Strait) is a Guitariste of American Jazz.
It begins its career with the beginning of the year fifty. He plays with many jazzmen (Dizzy Gillespie, Oscar Peterson, Benny Goodman, Jimmy Smith, Stan Getz, Gil Evans) and records more than one hundred of albums. Since 1978, He teaches also the history of the jazz at the university of Los Angeles.
The play of Kenny Burrell is characterized by its sobriety and its effectiveness without useless demonstration of virtuosity.
