Kenji Tokitsu
---- Kenji Tokitsu (時津賢児) (August 1st 1947 -), practitioner of martial arts and researcher, are the creator of the academy of martial arts Tokitsu-Ryu. Born with the Japan, graduate of the university Hitotsubashi, it goes to France to continue his studies and to settle there in 1971. Initiated with Shotokan Karate, it will end up moving away some to seek its own way by studying old the katas of Okinawa, the Kung Fu, the Taichi chuan, the Kendo, like various methods of health. Tokitsu-ryu is the sum and the personal synthesis of this martial research which wants to combine the effectiveness of the combat and the research of a harmonious balance at the human being. Kenji Tokitsu is moreover an academic recognized in the field of martial arts, its translation of the treated of the five wheels of Musashi and its works on Karate are references impossible to circumvent.
