Kenji Kamiyama

Kenji Kamiyama (), born on March 20th 1966 with Iturup with the Japan, is a Japanese realizer of animation.

He worked on many projects for the studio of animation Production I.G, specialized in the Anime and in collaboration with Mamoru Oshii which entrusts to him as of 1999 the direction of the animation of Jin-Roh: The brigade of the wolves based on the first volume of sound manga Kerberos Panzer COP .

In 2000 it takes part in the means-measuring of animation Blood: The Last Vampire based on the series of novels Blood: The Last Vampire .

He then becomes realizer with whole share with the original project Minipato ( Minipato, Mobile organizes minimum Patlabor , ミニパト), a series of three short-measurings of animation SD always supervised by his mentor.

Extremely of this success, the studio Production I.G entrusts to him the realization of the ambitious series Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex , of which it is at the origin of the original concept discussed with Oshii, then its continuation Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG marked of its print just like sinks the adapted feature-length film of the series Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. Solid State Society in 2006.

It carries out the series Seirei No moribito left in 2007.
