Ken Bruen
Ken Bruen is a writer Irish of detective novels. He was born in 1951 with Galway.
After studies with St Joseph' S College in Galway then with Trinity College in Dublin where he becomes doctor in metaphysics, ken Bruen started to travel much, teaching English in many countries of Africa, Southeast Asia and South America. It made even a small stay in prison with the Brésil.
Of return in Ireland it is fixed in its birthplace and written Romance blacks.
Bruen carries out two series of face:
- the first is held around a central figure, Jack Taylor, old police transfered for alcoholism reconverted in time that private detective and who are held in Galway. It benefits from this series to make a rather dark table of the Irish company.
- the other series puts in scene the inspectors Roberts & Brant. This series partly wants to be a homage to 27th the precint of ED McBain.
