Kelkoo

Kelkoo is a site price gauge present in ten countries in Europe (France, England, Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway and Denmark). Kelkoo belongs to the group Yahoo! since 2004.

Kelkoo also proposes a commercial platform personalized with many European gates.

History

Kelkoo was founded in 1999 by five people:
  • Pierre Chappaz was marketing director at IBM and it now left the Kelkoo/Yahoo company. It deals with new projects in the field of Internet.
  • Mauricio Lopez was research director at Bull. It left Kelkoo in 2002 and now spends its time traversing the world.
  • Rémy Amouroux was researcher at Bull. He works now on architectures of tomorrow at Yahoo.
  • Christophe Odin was engineer at Bull. Christophe Odin left Kelkoo beginning 2006 and chairs from now on Kapirisk, a bottom of private sector investment made up of business angels.
  • Jerome Mercier was marketing director at Lotus/IBM, he left Kelkoo in 2001 to return to Yahoo in 2004. He works now in a news start-up Photoways.

Dominique Vidal, who worked during the creation of the company at Banexi and followed the Kelkoo file, then quickly joined the company. He is now Europe director of Yahoo
