Keith Ward

Keith Ward (August 22nd, 1938 -) is a philosopher, a theologist, a writer and a British priest Anglican.

Graduate in 1962 with the University of Wales, it was university lecturer in logic and philosophy with the Université of Glasgow, the Université of St Andrews and the Univesité of London. In 1972, it was ordered minister in the Église of England. He taught thereafter with the King' S College and with the Université of Oxford.

In 1992, it was invited to teach with the Université of Claremont. The following year, it gave the Conférences Gifford to the university of Glasgow. He currently teaches theology with the Collège Gresham of London. He is member of the council of the royal Institut of philosophy and of the editorial board of the review Religion Studies .

He wrote on the evolution theist and answered the books of the atheistic author Richard Dawkins. He also criticized the philosopher materialist Daniel Dennett and of the sociologists such as Sigmund Freud and Karl Marx. He was also opposed to the Christian Fondamentalisme in his book of 2004 heading What the Bible Really Teaches .
