Keio network

The Réseau Keio (京王電鉄株式会社 - Keiō Dentetsu Kabushiki-gaisha) is a private company which actuates lines of the rails in the west of Tōkyō, Japan. Keio belongs to the Keio Group (京王グループ - Keiō Gurūpu).

These lines connect the suburbs of Chōfu, Fuchū, Hachioji, Hino, Inagi, Sagamihara, Tama) with Shinjuku and Shibuya. These lines do not go to the station of Tokyo or is the line Keiyō JR Is

The name " Keiō" is a contraction of " Tokyō-Hachiōji" (東 - 八 子).

The line Keio (京王線), the principal line of the Keio network, is a length of 38km, Shinjuku with Hachioji. The line between Shinjuku-Chofu was open in 1913 and the portion until Hachioji was finished in 1925.

The line Keio Inokashira (京王井の頭線, Keiō Inokashira-SEN) is a train which connects the stations Shibuya and Musashino, Tokyo, Japan.
