Kees Van Dongen
Kees Van Dongen , of its true name Cornelis Théodorus Marie van Dongen is a painter Dutch born the January 26th 1877 with Delfshaven, in the suburbs of Rotterdam (Netherlands). It disappears with quatre-vingt-onze years the May 28th 1968 with Monaco.
Biography
It settled with Paris in 1897. It obtained French nationality in 1929. It took part in the Fauvisme and was also briefly member of the movement German expressionist Die Brücke .
