Kebab
The sandwich kebab is in the beginning a Turkish sandwich however called Greek sandwich composed of meat of sheep, salad, tomato and onion. Generally acompagné of fried and a sauce, it is very consumed in the young people. Kebab (of the Persan RTL F كباب, Turkish Kebap in ) means “grill”, “meat roasted”. The kebab is generally made with Viande of lamb or Poulet, the ox and the fish being also sometimes used. The Porc is never used by the Musulman S because of their faith, but can be found among not-Moslems.
The term kebab (or kebap or kébab ) indicates in Europe, the döner kebap or more briefly döner , term literally meaning Turkish “grill revolving” in . One finds also names gyros , of the Greek , and chaouarma , Arab word rear RTL شاورما coming from the Turkish çevirme , “movement revolving”. It is not rare to also find shawarma , shwarma , shawerma or shoarma coming from the Hebrew . With the the United States, it is name shish kebab (of the Turkish şiş : Pin) which is most current.

Döner kebab
It is a Sandwich, meat heat usually made up of Veau and/or Dinde and/or Poulet or Poisson and even of Porc for certain salesmen not Musulman S. the meat is cut out in sections from approximately 1 centimetre thickness and is piled up on a vertical pin. The restaurants proposing of the kebabs to be carried are common in certain parts of Europe. It is often said that it is the Fast-food more sold in Germany for example. It is remainder in Berlin which the döner kebab " been useful lined in a pain" was invented, in 1971, by the young cook Mehmet Aygün (16 years at the time of the facts).

- Jujeh Kabab - (Persan) Chicken roasted
- Chenjeh Kabab - (Persan) prepared roasted lamb in the same way as the shish kabab , without the vegetables
- Shishleek - (Persan) traditionally roasted coasts of lamb marinaded
- Kabab Bareh - (Persan) lamb roasted traditionally marinaded in yoghourt with parsley
- Kabab Torsh - (Gilan - North of Iran) also called (Tursh - E - Kabab) roasted ox marinaded in a juice mixture of grenade, crushed nuts, of parsley, garlic and Olive oil
- Seekh kabab - Indian /Pakistanais- marinaded in spices and roasted out of skewer
- Shami Kabab - Indian /Pakistanais - the origin of this one would be in Syria
- Chapli Kabab - Pakistani - speciality of Peshawar
