Kazuya Minekura

Kazuya Minekura () is the pseudonym of the Mangaka author, inter alia, of Saiyuki . Even if one is unaware of his true name, one knows that its first name is Hitomi. It was born on March 23rd, 1975.

If Minekura is especially known for Saiyuki , left in 1997 in Japan - and exclusively for this manga to France - it is the author of many other works which, in 2006, are not yet available in French.

After a beginning of career in the field of the Dōjinshi (fanzines amateurs, often in parodic matter or Yaoi), its first works are published in 1993 by the magazine Kadokawa Shoten, whereas it is only 18 years old. Then at Tokuma shôten (Chara Comics) and finally Enix. However, following a leading dissension, it breaks with Enix, and Saiyuki becomes Saiyuki Reload, published from now on by Issaisha, and prépublié in the Zero-sum magazine.
