Kazuo Kiriyama

Kazuo Kiriyama (Kiriyama Kazuo) is a character of the novel best-seller and Manga Battle Royale of Koushun Takami. It is also one of the characters of film of the same name, where he is played by the Japanese actor-realizer Masanobu Ando ().

Presentation

  • Kazuo Kiriyama is the son " illégitime" , and the only heir to large and powerful head of undertaking. It underwent a heavy operation of the brain after a road accident when it was still very young, which, supposes one removed the center of the emotions to him.
  • It is often locked up in gaming rooms where it spends most clearly its time. It is however far from being a dunce and is even on the contrary one of the best pupils of its class (even the best, by drying the majority of the courses) with Kyôichi Motobuchi a slogger who makes very to be able to compete with Kiriyama…

  • Kazuo does not have really friends, it is the chief of a group of delinquents which makes of him an alive legend near the other pupils.

  • It leaves on a journey end of the year (in the book and the manga) in " sachant" (or while feeling) what awaits them, or voluntarily takes part in the play while being registered on the Net (in film).

  • In all the cases Kazuo Kiriyama takes part entirely in the play, for reasons which one is unaware of. Perhaps to prove itself that it is alive, or quite simply for " amuser".

  • In film of Kinji Fukasaku Battle Royal , the actor Ando Masanobu interprets the character of Kazuo Kiriyama.

  • Boy #17: Mitsuru Numai, member of the gang - four balls of Ingram MAC
  • Girl #6: Yukiko Kitano - several balls of MAC-10, completed with a Walther PP
  • Girl #7: Yumiko Kusaka - several balls of MAC-10, completed with Walther PP
  • Boy #14: Sho Tsukioka, member of the gang - trapped in a closed area, explosion of the collar
  • Boy #12: Yutaka Seto - shooting in the back in Ingram MAC
  • Boy #19: Shinji Mimura - shooting in the head in Ingram MAC
  • Boy #4: Toshinori Oda - shooting in the head in Ingram MAC
  • Girl #11: Mitsuko Summoned - shooting in the head in Ingram MAC
  • Fille #1: Mizuho Inada - shootings in the shoulder and the head with the Beretta 92 FS.
  • Boy #5: Shogo Kawada - shooting in the back in Walther PP (Kawada does not die that at the end of the book of the wound inflicted by Kiriyama)
In addition, Kiriyama is made kill by Shogo Kawada, this last counteracting the attack of Kiriyama with a shooting of Fusil to pump Remington M31 with sawn gun, in full head.

In the manga

In film

Kiriyama does not kill Mizuho Inada (Girl #1), and Sho Tsukioka (Boy #14) is killed with the gang of Numai.
