Kaze No shō
Kaze No shô, the book of the wind is a Manga (Jidaimono) of Jirō Taniguchi, published in the Japan in 1992, then in France with the editions Génération comics in 2004. It is about a single volume.
Based on an historical research deepened by the scenario writer Kan Furuyama, this manga plunges us in the middle of the wars of capacities of the shogunat Edo during the 17th century. Directed by the third shogun Iemitsu Tokugawa, the shogunat is with the catches with various machinations. The Munemori clan is used the shogun thanks to his services as espionage and his punitive actions; its agents are samurais carried out by the hero of the book, Yagyû Jûbei.
A crowned and secret book, " Secret Chronicles of Yagyû" is concealed by a samurai with the pay of Yashamaro. Jûbei and Yashamaro quickly become sworn enemies…
