Kayseri
Kayseri is a town of Turkey, Préfecture of the Province of the same name, located in the area of Cappadoce. It is known in the past under the name of Césarée de Cappadoce .
Known for its Turkish speciality, the Pastırma, beef dried and spiced, which with given the word of " Pastrami " in Europe) with spices, and covered with a thick layer of spice paste to the marked and salted taste. Delicious in sections and on fresh bread.
The city is the industrial center of the Anatolia. It has several industrial parks distributed around the city. In addition to that the trade is flourishing there with the recent opening many commercial complexes. On the national plan the city is famous for its contractors such as the family Sabanci or Boydak inter alia which make today parts of the richest families of Turkey. Kayseri also counts many expatriates divided in various countries of Western Europe, the latter ensuring the period of the holidays come an important re-entry from currencies.
All that ensures the town of Kayseri an enviable economic prosperity per many towns of Turkey. Kayseri shelters the church Surp Krikor, one of the last Armenian churches always in function.

Specialities of the city

- the Iskender : beef which locks up a plate which contains bread with tomato sauce (can eat itself with yoghourt)
