Kathleen Woodiwiss

Kathleen Erin Hogg Woodiwiss (born the June 3rd 1939, with Alexandria, Louisiana, the United States and dead the July 6th 2007 with Princeton, Minnesota, the United States), is an American écrivaine of love story.

She is regarded today as one of the pionnières of the Love story . She sold 40 million specimens of her work throughout the world.

Biography

After studies of history, Kathleen Woodiwiss launches out in the Love story with its first book " The flame and the flower " (When the hurricane calms down) which will be a great success in 1972. She is regarded as one of creative modern love story. Contrary to the books of Barbara Cartland or Delly with the tone more mièvre, the scenes of love are more explicit. In general, the novels contain a mixture of adventures to multiple bounces, decorated meticulous descriptions. The hero is very virile, and heroin, initially reticent to the hero, succumbs to his physical desire.

Violence and the erotism are important components of the history, through scenes of rapes and brawls. Today, this style is sometimes considered to be obsolete with the the United States. All its novels were classified in the list of the best-sellers of the '' NewYork Times ''.
