Katherine Bitting

Katherine Bitting , or Katherine Golden delicious Bitting (1869 - 1937), botanist, chemist and American biologist .

It is a famous collector of work on the Gastronomie. She collaborated in several books with her husband Arvill Wayne Bitting (1870 - 1946), expert in the field of the conservation and the preparation of food. After the death of its wife A.W. Bitting supervised the production of a bibliography and then gave its collection of 4.346 titles to the Bibliothèque of the Congress.
