Kate Malone
Kate Malone born in 1959 with London is an English artist ceramist who carries out his work in his studio in Paris.
She studied with the Bristol Polytechnic and the Royal College off Art. After its diploma, it settled in a studio in London and recently acquired a studio in the country. Malone is very implied in the work of the forms with the organic matters and its work is deeply scuptural. Its pots take form of vessels and although its work does so that these objects are able to function, it is not its priority because she regards herself as “maker of object of decoration”.
The forms of Malone - gourds, water melons, pineapple and their similar - have a drawing inspired of nature and celebrates fruitfulness.
