Kasli

Kasli (in Russian: Касли) is a city of the Oblast de Tcheliabinsk, in Russia and the administrative center of the Raïon of Kaslinski. It is located on the Eastern slope of the the Ural, with 138  km in the North-West of Tchéliabinsk. Its population rose with: 19091 inhabitants with the census of 2002 against: 21530 with that of 1989.

The town of Kasli was founded in 1747 under the name of Kaslinski (Каслинский), close to a foundry. It has the statute of city since the July 29th 1942
