Biography
Formed in
1999 with
Leicester, in the center of the
England, Kasabian is a quartet influenced by the Stone Roses or
Primal Scream. This known as, the English combo is able to develop its own style by directing its
Rock towards the electro one, the hip-hop or even the house. Without revolutionizing the kind in the middle of the years
2000, the English group had a great success and took part in the revival of the English rock'n'roll after the more or less voluntary withdrawal of
Blur of the scene
Britpop.
The heading that they chose refers to Linda Kasabian, a hippie which “had been indicated” by Charles Manson to assist and to testify to the murders which it was going to perpetrate in the villa of Sharon Tate.

In July 2006, the writer and multi-instrumentalist Christopher Karloff leaves the group because of " artistic differences and créatives" according to the Web site of the group.
