Karstula

Karstula is a municipality mid-west of the Finland, in the area of Finland-Power station.

The west of the commune, at the border of the Ostrobotnie of the South, is crossed by the moraine of Suomenselkä. Some lakes of average importance extend to the east, the main thing being Pääjärvi at the edge of which the village is built.

The village counts several building histories as well as a house drawn by Alvar Aalto.

The municipality is surrounded by the communes of Kyyjärvi in north, Kivijärvi in the North-East, Kannonkoski in the east, Saarijärvi in south-east, Pylkönmäki in the south, and side Ostrobotnie of the South by Soini in the west.
