The Karnataka (ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ in Kannara) is a State located at the south of the India, created in 1956. The birthday of its creation is celebrated on November 1st ( Suvarna Karnataka ).

Geography

The districts of Karnataka are: Bagalkot, Bangalore, Rural Bangalore District, Belgaum, Bellary, Bîdâr, Bîjâpur, Chamrajnagar, Chikmagalur, Chitradurga, Dakshina Kannada, Davangere, Dharwad, Gadag, Gulbarga, Hassan, Haveri, Kodagu, Kolar, Koppal, Mandya, Mysore, Raichur, Shimoga, Tumkur, Udupi, and Uttara Kannada

Economy

Bangalore capital of the State became during these last years the Indian capital of high technology, attracting multinationals, for the low costs and the qualification of the labor.

The Association of the peasants of Karnataka (KRRS) is known internationally like an organization Altermondialiste. The Indian peasants organized themselves there since 1992 to fight against the multinationals, which they show to have organized the price collapse of the production, to adapt the majority of the grounds and to use destroying techniques and technologies for the environment.
