Karl Haushofer

Karl Haushofer , born the August 27th 1869 with Munich and deceased the March 13rd 1946 with Pähl is one of the most important theorists of the Géopolitique Nazi, although it did not adhere to the Nazi party itself. It directed the company of Thulé.

Resulting from a family of artists and academics, it is sent in the East in 1908 with an aim of studying the Japanese army . He travels then in the area, in particular in India and with the Tibet, learns the languages from these countries and impassions for the Buddhist religion and Eastern philosophies, in which he quickly becomes a large specialist. It also is interested in the ethnos group indenne disappeared from the Aryan and in the system from the castes, which will make the bed of the racial theories nazies.
It is undoubtedly Haushofer which brought to the Nazism its elements natives of the Far East: use of Swatiska, creation of the body of the S (that Heinrich Himmler regarded as Samurai), etc

Its geopolitical ideas, developed whereas he is professor of geography to the Université of Munich, mèlent two impulses apparently contradictory: economic autarky on the one hand, and colonization imperialist on the other hand.
Parmi his students, one finds Rudolf Hess. It made it possible Rudolf Hess to meet the journalist Dietrich Eckart like Alfred Rosenberg very active members about Thulé.

It is thought that Karl Haushofer was member many esoteric secret societies such as the Ordre of Thulé and the Confrérie of Vril. It would have also been in contact with the hermetic Ordre of the gilded Paddle. Lastly, if one trusts Louis Pauwels ( Mr Gurdjieff ), it seems that he was an eminent member of the circles esoteric gurdjieffiens.

In July 1944, his/her son Albrecht is implied in an attempted murder of Hitler - it is exécuté.

After the war, the Father American Jesuit Edmund Walsh was designated to question Karl Haushofer in October in Nuremberg. One did not find against Haushofer of sufficient counts of indictment to submit it with the Procès of Nuremberg. The text of this confession is in F.A.
