Karl-Heinz Grasser

Karl-Heinz Grasser , born the January 2nd 1969 with Klagenfurt, is a Austrian Politician .

He is graduate into 1992 of management applied to Klagenfurt.

Formerly member of the FPÖ and near collaborator to Jörg Haider. Thus in 1993, he is general secretary of the FPÖ.

In 1998, it breaks with Haider and works in the private one. Within the Magna group, he is vice-president for Human Resources and the Public relations.

In 2000, it makes its political comeback as a Minister for Finance of Austria, posts that it occupies until the January 11th 2007.

It is known for its positions Rigoriste S by its European counterparts. March 20th, 2005 he was in particular opposed to the taking into account of the cost of the German reunification in the exceptional Facteurs which make it possible a country to escape a Procédure in excessive deficit, at the time of the attempt of the Ministers for Finance of the Eurogroupe to find an agreement on the Stability pact.
