Kariya

Kariya (刈谷市, Kariya-shi ) is a city (市, shi ) of the Préfecture of Aichi, with the Japan. The city was founded April 1950. Population of the east city of 141.461 inhabitants for a surface of 50.45 km ² (2004).

Kariya is twinned with the town of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.

History

During the Second world war, large towers financed by the Germany were located at Kariya and were employed to communicate the orders of Attaque on Pearl Harbor. Those for summer have demolished.
