Kargopol
Kargopol () is a city of the Oblast d' Arkhangelsk, in Russia, and the administrative center of the Raïon of Kargopolsky. It is located on both sides banks of the river Onega, with several kilometers in the north of the lake Lacha and to 350 km in the south of Arkhangelsk. Its population was of 11 192 inhabitants at the time of the census of 2002 against 12 495 inhabitants at the time of the precedent, in 1989).
