Karakul

'The karakul or caracul is a race of Mouton S with long hairs, originating in the village of Karakul (Turkish will qara : black + qul , göl : lake) close to Bukhara in Ouzbékistan.
By extension, karacul also indicates the fur of this sheep. (The karakul born before term provides the breitschwantz). The Astrakan is a buckled fur of young lambs karakul which forwarded at the origin by the town of Astrakhan (with H) in Russia.
