Karabük

Karabük is a town of Turkey, Préfecture of the province of the same name.

Approximately the principal city is Karabük which is located 200 kilometers of north of Ankara and approximately 100 kilometers of south of the coast of the Black Sea.

Karabük is located on the road between Bartin and Ankara which was during ancient time an important route between Amasra on the coast and the central Anatolia. The railroad between Ankara and Zonguldak crosses Karabük.

Safranbolu, a historically important city, enumerated in the list of heritage of the world of UNESCO, is located in the province of Karabük.
