Kara-Khitans

Kara-Khitans or Qara Khitaï (" Khitans noirs"), connects of the people protomongol Khitans which had created in China the dynasty of the Liao (907 - 1125).

With the fall of the Liao, the Kara-Khitans created in Central Asia a Khanat sometimes called Liao of the West ( Xi Liao ), which lasted of 1124 with 1218.
