Kapuskasing
Kapuskasing is a city on the Rivière Kapuskasing in the District of Cochrane, in the north of the Ontario, the Canada. In 2001, its population was of 9 238 inhabitants)
History
The city was founded at the beginning of when the precursor of the Canadian National was built in this zone. During the First World War, it was called McPherson-Kapuskasing and was the site of a prison camp which retained more 1 200 German, Austrian prisoners, Ukrainian, and Turks.
