Kapas Mahal

The Kapas Mahal or “area of cotton” was a small kingdom located between the Burma at the east and the the British Indies at north and the west. It covered a surface more 13  100 km ². Its capital ( Rajdhani ) is Rangamati or Rangamadi after colonization britannique.
In 1860, this small kingdom is colonized by the British, who rename it “Chittagong Hill Tracts”.

After the Indian partition, it is attached to Pakistan Oriental, then in 1971 with the Bangladesh with the independence of this country.
