Kanchipuram
Kanchipuram , Kanchi , or Kancheepuram (or even Conjeevaram) is one of the seven Holy Cities of the India. It was the capital of the large kingdoms Dravidiens (Pallava, Chola…). It is on the river Palar in the state of the Tamil Nadu in India.
Center religious
Called the city with the 1000 temples, it does not count any all the same less than 125. It attracts many pilgrims and tourists. Two large currents of the Hindouisme: the Shivaïsme and the vishnuism, are represented with equal shares. One finds the temples there of:- Temple of Kailasanathar

Economic center
The city counts 200.000 inhabitants today. Its economy rests primarily on tourism and the silk tisserands which made the reputation of the city on the matter.
