Kanaal Z is a Television channel economic and financial Belgian private belonging to the group Roularta.

History of the chain

The chains of Television economic and financial Kanaal Z and Canal Z are an initiative of the group of Belgian media with dimensions Roularta Media Group. Kanaal Z diffuses in Dutch since February 1st 1999 in Flemish Area. May 15th 2000, its during French-speaking person is launched under name Canal Z and is diffused in Walloon region. Lastly, on July 1st 2001, the two chains are diffused in alternation on a channel in Area of Brussels.

Kanaal Z is published by Belgian Business Television SA, subsidiary of the group of media Roularta which publish the economic magazine Trends.

Diffusion

The chain is currently diffused 24:00 /24 on the cable, but also by ADSL on Belgacom TV and Telenet and its programs are diffused in video streaming on its Internet site. It is also diffused on the Mobile TV via the offers Proximus and Mobistar. The two chains reach 315.000 televiewers on daily basis and 815.600 on weekly basis.

Program

Kanaal Z disseminates information on the topicality economic and financial, as well regional, as national or international. In week, the Newspaper and the Markets are diffused in loop. Other magazines or mini-programs are also diffused in week. During the weekend, Kanaal Z diffuses a summary of the topicality of the week.

One unrolling which ravels in bottom of the screen informs uninterrupted on the evolution of the money markets and diffuses a wire information in short. Kanaal Z also offers a financial teletext. On the editorial level, Kanaal Z works in collaboration with the draftings of Trends and Trends Tendances, Sharp the Express train and Knack, of Bizz and the other magazines of the group. To the level marketing and promotional, the group tends towards a total interaction between the the printed Télévision, Internet and media.
