Kampaku
The kampaku (Japanese: ) is a regent, or " large rapporteur" , of a major emperor to the Japan. This function, which bore before the name of azukari-môsu , was created at the Heian era in 884 for Fujiwara No Mototsune. As well as the sesshô (), the kampaku had the absolute capacities quasiement and made leave the policy of regency (, Sekkan seiji ) of the family Fujiwara. From the 12th century however, Fujiwara did not have any more the monopoly of the title whose load tended to become honorary. Thus the title remained until in 1867.
