Kallipateira
Kallipateira or Phereniki is the first allowed woman in a stage in the ancient Greece. It is member of a family of recognized athletes of Rhodos. One counts in his family his father Diagoras, boxer; his/her son Pisidoras, runner with foot; but also his/her husband, his three brothers and his nephew all recognized athletes.
She is especially known to be the first woman married not to be punished to be entered a stage. With died of her husband, it deals with the sporting drive of her son. When it takes it along to Olympie, it is disguised as a man to be made pass for the trainer, but is uncovered when his/her son gains the race. Of joy, it would have jumped the barrier and loses its clothing remained hung. By respect for the family of Kallipateira, the authorities did not punish it.
