Kallawaya
Kallawaya , according to interpretations and the language employed (Quechua or Aymara), means “country of the doctors”, “inhabitants of the crowned ground” or “carrying drugs”. This term indicates an Andean population which specialized in practice in traditional medicine. They are itinerant healers.
