Kalispell

The town of Kalispell is the seat of the Comté of Flathead, in the Montana, with the the United States. At the time of the Census of 2000, the city counted: 14223 inhabitants, population estimated at: 17 381 inhabitants in 2004. Densité : 461,9  hab/km ² (1  196,7  hab/mi ²). It is one of the principal shopping malls and tertiary sectors of the North-West of Montana. Kalispell is served by the international airport of Glacier Park and by the station of Amtrak Empire Builder.

The name of Kalispell comes from a word Salish which means ground punt above the lake .
