Kaiserschmarrn
The Kaiserschmarrn is a dessert containing Pancake batter which counts among the Austrian specialities most famous.
It resembles a thick pancake, coarsely cut in thin straps. It is generally been useful tepid, powdered with sugar freezes and accompanied by plum or stewed apples (called Zwetschkenröster in Vienna and in the North-East of Austria).
To prepare it, to pour the pancake batter in a frying pan on average fire containing of butter, until the lower face is cooked. To cut out then with a spoon or a spatula, to turn over the pieces and to finish cooking. There exist many alternatives of Kaiserschmarrn, for example caramelized, with the dry grapes or almonds.
