Kac mark
Mark Kac (or Marek Kac) (August 3rd 1914 - October 26th 1984) (to pronounce: katz) was a American Mathématicien of Polish origin , specialist in the Theory of probability.
Biographical elements
Born with Krzemieniec, currently in Ukraine. Emigrate in the United States in 1937, where it will remain definitively. Dies in California, the USA.
Author of many work in theory of probability.
In 1966, it synthesized a problem of spectral Géométrie in the form of a question become famous: “ can one hear the shape of a drum? ”.
