KPMG
KPMG is a world network of performances of service of audit ( To that the ), tax ( Tax ) and of council ( Advisory ) dedicated to the companies of the whole world. It is the fourth world network in term of CA after respectively PwC, Deloitte and EY. In 2006, KPMG employs nearly 113.000 people in 145 countries and generates 19,8 billion dollars of incomes. KPMG is n°1 on the French market and Japanese and n°2 on the Chinese market. It occupies a position of leader on the market of the audit of the finance companies. It counts for example Citigroup, HSBC, Deutsche Bank like customers.

K is the initial one of Klynveld . The cabinet of expertise-accountant Klynveld Kraayenhof & Co. by Piet Klynveld with Amsterdam in 1917.
- P was founded is the initial one of Peat , of the name of the cabinet of expertise-accountant William Barclay Peat & Co., rested by William Barclay Peat with London in 1870.
- M is the initial one of Marwick : James Marwick joined Roger Mitchell to create with New York the cabinet of expertise-accountant Marwick, Mitchell & Co. in 1897.
- G is the initial one of Goerdeler . Dr. Reinhard Goerdeler will be a long time with the head of Deutsche Treuhand-Gesellschaft (DTG) then of KPMG.
History
KPMG was born from fusion in 1987 of the groups Peat Marwick International (SME) and Klynveld Main Goerdeler (KMG). American Peat had created his company in 1870.
The French entity of KPMG in France, KPMG S.A., takes its origin in the Fiduciaire public limit company of France, created in Grenoble in 1922. In 1947, the cabinet divides between Fiduciaire France for accountancy and the Audit Office, and Fidal for the legal and tax council, even if Fidal becomes an independent entity only in 2002. Fiduciary of France east founding member of European network KMG in 1972.

In 1998, the division of council in information systems and integration of KPMG in France, Peat Marwick is sold with American Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) and becomes CSC Peat Marwick, famous CSC in 2005.

In 2002, division the Council of KPMG in the United States, KCI (KPMG Consulting Inc.) repurchases Business Consulting France, old Conseil division of Andersen in France and re-elects BearingPoint.

In 2002 always, the French group Atos repurchases divisions council of KPMG in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands, it forms Atos KPMG, famous since Atos Consulting.

In parallel, KPMG Consulting, division council in France and independent of the activity to that the east sold in Syntegra, connects council of BT (British Telecom).

In January 2002, the American branch of certification ISO 9001 is sold with BSI Group; this one also buys the branch Dutchwoman, KPMG Certification B.V., in 2004.

In 2007, KPMG Suisse joined the furure entity KPMG Europe LP (entity of English right whose seat will be in Frankfurt). The largest cabinet of audit would weigh 3,2 billion dollars of incomes.

International KPMG is a Swiss co-operative of right. KPMG S.A. (in France) is a cabinet independent member of international network KPMG, while being an independent legal entity, held with 97% by a holding, of which 80% of the actions are held by the associates, and 20% by the descendants of the founders families.
