KB-No-Hana

KB-No-hana , in the Japanese Mythologie is the princess-flower and the symbol of the delicate terrestrial life. It is the girl of the god Oho-Yama. She is often regarded as a misadventure of the Japanese life, in particular because of her symbol, the flower of the cherry tree or Sakura.

She is the woman of Ninigi. She met the god at the seaside and they fell in love. Ninigi required its hand of Oho-Yama which proposed his/her oldest daughter to him, Iha-Naga in the place. But Ninigi swore only by KB-No-hana . Understanding, Oho-Yama accepted and the marriage could take place. They had three wire of which Hoderi and Hoori. However, their marriage did not last: Ninigi was jealous and suspicieux. Of despair, KB-No-hana put fire at their hut and died in the flames.
