KAA Gantese the ( Koninklijke Atletieke Associatie Race in Dutch), is a Belgian club of Football. The club chaired by Ivan De Witte and pulled by Trond Sollied evolves/moves in 2007 - 2008 in Division 1 Belgian

The Club

The club was founded in 1864 under the name of Athletic Royal Association Gantese the , it was in the beginning omnisport (athletics, water polo, cricket,…), but the section football appeared only on November 1st 1900. In 1913, the presence of the circus of Buffalo Bill led the club to become Buffalos and to take a head of Indian like symbol. After obtaining the title of Royal Company the April 25th 1914, the club changes denomination and becomes the Athletic Royal Association Gantese the before becoming Koninklijke Athletieke Asoociatie Gent on July 1st 1971.
