K-Maro

K-Maro , of its true name Cyril Kamar (born with Beirut with the Lebanon on January 31st, 1980), is a rappor montréalais. After having lived with Paris, it settles finally with the Quebec in 1995 where it discovers the R' B North-American. Its group LMDS ( Messengers Of the Sound ) has success. It launches out then in a career solo in France, in 2004. K-Maro is today a producer with success with K-Pone Inc, its production company which provides to the hip-hop artists such as Shy' m. It also created its line of clothing.

Its vision of the world, which he considers egoistic, very clearly influenced its songs ( the brothers exist still , 2006). He preaches a better world in which solidarity and the mutual aid will triumph.

For the purists, K-Maro is not a true French rappor, because of his too simplistic texts and owing to the fact that it ostentatiously posts his richnesses like the American rappeurs. He became besides, with Matt Pokora, inter alia, a target for almost all the rappeurs as a person wanting to form integral part of a movement where he does not have his place; indeed, it would seem closer to RnB than rap, and would give itself a reputation of " gangsta" who would be illegitimate, moreover his behavior would not let it predict like a rappor; the fact that it is not suburbs not entering to in no case in the remarks of its detractors. (Medine, Bakar, Casus Belli… are not suburbs and are very appreciated.)

To note that by no means prevents it from carrying out very good sales with each left album.

Anecdote:

Contrary that one could hear, it forever gangé its first million euros at the age of only 18 years while speculating for the purse. They were in fact 15 ' 000 $ Canadian gained not by him but by his/her friend Nick Comati and it was with the casino not with the purse.
