Kütahya (province)

The province of Kütahya is one of the 81 Province S (in Turkish: it , in the singular, and it in the plural) of the Turkey.

Its Turkish prefecture (: valiliği ) is in the éponyme city Kütahya.

Geography

Its surface is of 11.875 km ².

Population

With the census of 1990, the province was populated approximately 578.020 inhabitants, that is to say a Population density of approximately 48 hab. /km ².

Administration

The province is managed by a Turkish prefect (: vali )

The province is divided into 13 Turkish districts (: ilçe , in the singular): Altıntaş, Aslanapa, Çavdarhisar, Domaniç, Dumlupınar, Emit, Gediz, Hisarcık, Kütahya, Pazarlar, Simav, Şaphane and Tavşanlı.
