Kôm Ombo
Located at 165 kilometers in the south of Louxor and at 40 kilometers in the north of Aswan, Kôm Ombo (كومأمبو) is a locality of known High-Egypt to shelter one of the Egyptian temples best preserved.

It dates from the ptolémaïque period with additions makes under the reign of the Roman Emperors. This double temple is dedicated to two divinities: the god-falcon Haroëris (Horus the old one) and the god crocodile Sobek.
With before a vault dedicated to Hathor is, where are stored the Momie S of the crocodiles coming from the close burial.
A scene engraved on the enclosing wall is rare: it is a list of surgical instruments.
