Just Causes

Just Cause is a Video game of action left on September 22nd 2006 on PC, Playstation 2, Xbox and Xbox 360. The play was developed by Avalanche Studios and was published by Eidos Interactive.

Just cause is a play of action to the manner of a AWG-like being held in the South American island fictitious of " San Esperito ". The player can walk freely in a chart of 1024 km ² and has of a Parachute and a hook which it can deploy constantly. The island is made up of varied reliefs: mountains, forests, plains… The vastness of the island makes the principal interest of the play of it. To prevent that the player is bored to cross the island of San Esperito with his vehicle, an option " Evacuation" is proposed: that makes it possible to the player to be made parachute with one of its cushy jobs or instead of " Briefing" following mission. One can also note the option " Dropping of Véhicule" who allows the player to be made deliver by helicopter, the vehicle of his choice among the 4 suggested (motor bike cross-country race, 4X4, mini-helicopter and boat). The movements of Rico (the main character) are varied and raise in certain situations of the Surnaturel. Indeed, in certain missions, one will ask you to leave your Hélicoptère in full flight to go to jump on the plane which flies to side. Side armament, the play proposes a choice enough varied: Rifle of precision, double-gun, Uzi, rocket launcher… In addition to the main missions, additional missions are proposed to the player: they enable him to gain cushy jobs, respect or vehicles…

However, on Jeuxvideo.com, the play was noted 9/20 on Playstation 2, 12/20 on PC and 13/20 on Xbox and Xbox 360. Just Cause is especially criticized for its repetitive missions (releases of villages, etc…), many the bugs and graphics (especially on PS2).

History

San ESperito is an archipelago of South America, the country is in full civil war opposing the dictatorial mode with President Mendoza to the revolutionary guerilla. The mode is supported by the trust of Montanos which innonde the United States of cocaine. The CIA sends Rico Rodriguez to destroy the trust of drug, with this intention only one solution reverse the government. Help the guerilla by delivering the country village by village, to destroy the trust of Montanos with the assistance of the trust of Riojas. Through 21 main missions and even more secondary mission, in an immense and manific decoration this play is a real pleasure.

Characters

Rico Rodriguez : Main character and character whom you incarnate. He is American to send by the CIA to destabilize the dictatorial mode and to destroy the trust of Montanos which provides the United States in cocaine. He becomes the most useful member of the revolutionary movement of San Esperito.
