The just is a part of the female VĂȘtement of the 18th century. It is a Veste which was only carried by the Paysan born. Extremely simple, the Juste was cut of only one part and only bent on the sides. These Couture S stopped with the size, leaving the bottom of the open Juste for trained of the Basque , and to facilitate ease and the movement.

It is a clothing which was exported much with the Canada and with the the United States. Very used and generally transformed several times into various clothing for a question of economy, very few of these jackets were preserved. The rare existing specimens are American: it in general acts right (or of Mantelet S, according to Canadian name) Quakers, called shorts gowns .
